Maspalomas, known for its impressive sand dunes and idyllic beaches, is a small paradise in the south of Gran Canaria. For 10 days each May, it becomes the perfect setting for a unique gathering: Maspalomas Gay Pride.

This recreational, cultural, and festive event recognizes the rights of all people, regardless of their sex or sexual orientation. It serves to demand equality, respect, and tolerance. It is the greatest support against discrimination and violence against gays, lesbians, bisexuals, and transgender people.

Maspalomas Gay Pride is one of the largest and most celebrated gay events in Europe, generating millions of euros in revenue in Gran Canaria. This year, it concluded with record participation figures, bringing together more than 350,000 people in the more than 40 events held between May 1 and 11.
